Coronavirus Update

Venom VBC is concerned about the health, safety, and well-being of all our members and families. We understand your concern, the uncertainty, and anxiety that you may be experiencing as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  Venom VBC wants you to know that we are committed to being proactive, responsible and methodical in our reaction to this situation as it evolves.

USAV and JVA have cancelled or recommended that events be cancelled/postponed until March 23rd. AAU has put a three week time frame on activity cancellations/postponements until April 2nd.  While these messages were coming out, Venom VBC staff and coaches gathered this afternoon to develop a plan moving forward.

Venom VBC will follow the recommendations of USAV, AAU, and JVA.  Venom VBC is cancelling all activities until March 30th.  At that point, we will re-evaluate the situation.  We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as necessary.  Please essentially contain yourselves to private spaces and avoid mass gatherings.  Take this time to workout in your home and get some cardio done as well. If you have worked out, go ahead and reward yourself with a few hours of Netflix.

By following the guidelines of the CDC, this should help contain any illness within our family or prevent us from being exposed and prolonging this epidemic.

With this closure, unfortunately the Grassroots season is effectively over.  Venom VBC will make every effort to do something extra for Grassroots next season.

All other Venom VBC teams have had tournaments cancelled. Coaches and staff have been working to identify replacement tournaments.  Your coach will reach out to you with any applicable changes to your team’s schedule.

We wish everyone remain in good health and stay safe during this time.  As always, should you ever need any assistance, please let us know so we can help.

Sincerely,
Greg Koon
